inlab was set up to catalyse learning innovation in Singapore's Training and Adult Education (TAE) sector. An initiative of SkillsFuture Singapore (SSG) and managed by the Institute for Adult Learning (IAL), inlab is where the TAE sector comes together as a community to explore and innovate learning solutions.

Facilitate Collaboration
inlab facilitates collaboration among TAEs stakeholders, from adult educators and training providers to solution providers and championing agencies.
At inlab, we have created a set of what we called InnovSeries programmes which are designed to empower the Training and Adult Education (TAE) professionals to innovate their training beyond the norm and maximize the efficacy of individual's learning back in the actual workplace. Our InnovSeries programmes bring different stakeholders to Explore, Collaborate and Innovate.
innovSeries comprises three competitive innovation grant initiatives - innovSpur, innovPlus and innovJam; two knowledge awareness platforms - innovLogue and innovBite; and a capability development initiatives specifically for Training Providers and Enterprises with Learning & Development (L&D) units - innovDev.
innovSpur - A new anchor programme of iN.LEARN 2.0, to support innovators in scaling up minimum viable products to the commercialization stage, that is ready for the Learning and Development market. Applicants will be evaluated according to innovativeness, market and competition, impact, scalability, risks mitigation, track record and project team competencies.
Projects may be awarded a grant capped at SGD 500,000 per project, for up to one year. The successful applicants are required to co-fund 25% of the project’s eligible cost.
innovPlus - A competitive learning innovation grant challenge which awards a prototyping grant of up to $200,000 to winning organisations to develop an innovative, feasible and scalable prototype that advances CET practice and outcomes. The innovPlus Challenge is run twice a year.
innovBite provides bite-sized learning on the topics that we felt are important for our stakeholders, from individual trainers, someone who needs to engage audience online to enterprise stakeholders.

innovDev - Launched in August 2020, alongside the Training Adult Education (TAE) Industry Digital Plan (IDP), innovDev is designed to equip Training Providers and Enterprises with Learning & Development units (TP&Es) with necessary capabilities to redesign their present courses into quality tech-enabled or blended courses.
