Gain the understanding of the benefits of branding yourselves in the Training and Adult Educator (TAE) industry and learn the various ways for establishing as the sought-after trainer in your respective areas of expertise.
This is a fully online session conducted via ZOOM. Participants can participate in the session from any venue of their convenience with a laptop / device that is compatible with ZOOM. More details on participating in the session will be send to the confirmed registrants.
What Is The Session About?
The different social media platforms provide excellent opportunities for Adult Educators (AEs) to share their knowledge and establish their brand online. In the last session of the Social Learning track, you will learn about the importance of establishing their training brand in the training industries. You will master various ways to build your branding through facilitating social learning online. You will also be given the opportunity to use a tool to plan your training brand.

Who Is It Suitable For?
Adult Education: Individuals who are involved in learning design, curriculum development, learning facilitation, assessment of learning competence, learning technology integration and/or providing consultancy and advisory services to drive business performance.
Learning Management: Individuals who are involved in management and support of learning programmes, systems and technology management and implementation, quality assurance of learning programmes and/or driving business development.
Human Capital Development (HCD): Individuals who are in-company L&D staff who are involved in building employee capabilities to support business needs.

About The Speaker
Steven Koh (Mr)
Steven Koh is a specialist adult educator (SAE) with over 30 years of industrial and management experience in the TAE industry as a speaker, learning facilitator, curriculum designer, work learning specialist and business consultant. He has developed and delivered many excellent training solutions and programmes for established organisations and top brands across a wide range of industries.
He is an experienced edupreneur who has started his first training business in 1994. His training company and programmes have equipped many senior management, managers and executives with excellent attitudes, skills and knowledge to excel in the highly competitive global economy. With a passion to share his experience, Steven grew his business to offer executive coaching and mentoring to CEOs, directors and senior managers in organisational management and development.
Currently, he is an AE mentor with IAL. Over the last few years, he has mentored many adult educators to start and grow their training businesses by sharing his entrepreneurship experience. In 2015, he has founded the Community of Learning (Singapore), a Facebook group. The community is currently a vibrant social learning community online with over 5000 leaders, professionals and adult educators. Many of them are edupreneurs.
Steven has a very good understanding of the TAE industry and a rich set of business experience. He is passionate to help other AEs to learn and do well as an edupreneur. He has conducted the ACLP programmes and delivered many continuous development programmes (CPD) for AEs at IAL.
Sean Tan (Mr)
Sean Tan is the Founder of The Asian Coach Pte Ltd. He helps organisations achieve better outcomes by transforming the way they work and make decisions. This is achieved through developing leadership competencies and building high-performance teams, based on the principles of Eastern Values, Western Systems. As an Action Learning Coach and Facilitator, he helps leaders in organisations co-create programs that addresses their key challenges. He has trained and facilitated numerous workshops and events for various organisations across this region.
Over a career spanning more than two decades, Sean has served in senior management positions in Business Development, Sales and Marketing with US MNCs, GLCs and local SMEs in the Power and Engineering Services industries. He has successfully developed, managed and grown multiple distribution channels in the Asia Pacific region with the various organizations.
Sean’s leadership experience extends beyond the corporate world. He is an experienced community leader of Community of Learning (Singapore), a social learning community with over 3k leaders and professionals in Singapore. In addition, he served more than 20 years as an active National Serviceman in the Singapore Armed Forces, holding senior leadership positions and leading his unit to winning multiple awards.
Sean is also a Certified Practitioner of NLP and has attained the Advanced Certificate in Training and Assessment (ACTA). He graduated with a Bachelor of Engineering (NUS) and a Master of Business Administration (NUS) and holds a Diploma in Marketing from CIMUK. He is an active member of the International Association of Facilitators (IAF).
