About The Speaker
Bennet Lim
Bennet's diverse background spans finance, entrepreneurship, and training. He holds a Master’s in Applied Finance from Macquarie University, a Business degree from Nanyang Technological University, and an Advanced Diploma in Data Analytics from Ngee Ann Poly. He is a certified adult educator and career coach with SkillsFuture Singapore, holding ACTA certification in Learning and Performance and DDDLP certifications in curriculum design and development.
Throughout his career, Bennet has excelled in various roles, including business development for a US MNC and co-founding the online educational portal IQmind.com during the dot-com era. He later served as the South Asia General Manager for an online marketing platform founded by a group of Ivy League graduates. Bennet also co-founded a parcel locker system, now commonly known as POP Station. This startup was sold to a local telecommunication company and has since evolved to address the last mile in e-commerce delivery.
Bennet is a sought-after thought leader and trusted advisor, known for his commitment to mental wellness in the workplace. He has launched awareness campaigns and conducted mental health gap analysis surveys, equipping corporations, officers, and inmates with skills to manage mental stress. On a voluntary basis, Bennet conducts mindfulness workshops for the Singapore Prison Service and serves as a befriender, providing mentoring and counselling services to ex-offenders.
In addition to his professional roles, Bennet is an adjunct lecturer at various institutes of adult learning, imparting knowledge on career development and transferable soft skills. He has curated and delivered courseware on topics such as Recruitment Sales, Negotiation, Leadership, High Performance Teams, and Growth Mindset, among others. He regularly conducts talks and webinars for the public, companies, and graduating students on SkillsFuture.
Bennet's contributions position him as an influential figure in shaping the future of human capital across the region, fostering environments where individuals thrive and businesses flourish.

Michael Choy is a firm believer that education coupled with technology can empower people in the workforce. As a thought leader in the field of adult education. he is frequently invited to be a key-note speaker at university forums, and public institutions such as the SAF learning conference, Asian Development Bank Conference and Adult Learning Symposiums and most recently, at the ALX conference as part of the Special Interest Groups in IAL.
He is an award-winning innovator and researcher who developed impactful pedagogical tools to transform adult education, including chatbots for learning, and error-based learning.
Michael is joint Chair of Special Interest Group (Learning Design) at IAL, an IAL Adult Educator Mentor, an innovDev consultant as well as the founder and CEO of Tech Tree, a growing online EduTech company that develops online courses and chatbots for learning.
