What Is The Session About?

With the proliferation of technology, the virus pandemic and increasing disruption, organisations need to be adaptable and change ready. We may need to lead and manage changes that impact us at work, at home or in the community. It is important to understand the dynamics of change and how we can lead and manage change effectively, especially at the workplace. This course will equip you with the knowledge, actionable strategies and tools to lead and manage change effectively. Participants will be immersed in active learning activities such as self-reflection, group discussion, experiential exercises, peer coaching, videos and debriefs so that what is learnt is applied back at work and in their personal lives.

Course Funding and Policies

Payment

Please proceed to make payment via eNets/credit card (VISA or MasterCard) at the end of the registration process. Kindly note that the system will automatically cancel the registration if full payment has not been successfully processed by 11.59pm (Singapore Time) on the same day of the registration. You will have to reapply for the course, subject to availability of vacancy at the point of your re-registration.


Additional Funding Available, If Applicable

To ensure course fees remain affordable, SkillsFuture Singapore (SSG) will provide 70% subsidy for Singapore Citizens (SC) and Singapore Permanent Residents (PR) for approved SkillsFuture courses. This will be applicable to both self-sponsored and company-sponsored applicants. Self-sponsored applicants can offset the remaining course fees using their SkillsFuture Credit. Eligible applicants can further benefit from other SSG subsidies of up to 90% such as the SkillsFuture Mid-Career Enhanced Subsidy. Applicants who are eligible need only pay the difference between the full fees (set by the Institute) and the government funding from SSG.


Singaporeans aged 25 years old and above are eligible for SkillsFuture Credit which can be used to offset the selected programmes' fees for self-sponsored registrations only. Successful applicants who are Singapore Citizens aged 40 years old and above will be eligible for SkillsFuture Mid-Career Enhanced Subsidy (MCES) of up to 90% of course fees. Please note the submission period for your SFC claim via MySkillsFuture needs to be within 60 days before the course start date (date inclusive). If your course start date is more than 60 days from the date of SFC application, the SSG-SFC portal would reject your application. In this case, you would need to pay the full course fees at the end of your course application.


Rescheduling

Request for rescheduling it must be submitted to IAL 2 weeks before the commencement of programme. Reschedule requests that come mid-way through training has to be supported by valid reasons; substantiated by references as evidence; such as a doctor's note; or a hospitalization chit.


Please submit your request to reschedule your course at MyIAL. A non-refundable administrative fee of

S$54.50 w/GST ($50) applies for the request and the next available slot will be offered


Withdrawal

Request for withdrawal from a programme is subjected to review by IAL and the decision is final. IAL reserves the right to request for supporting document(s). A non-refundable administration fee of

S$54.50 w/GST ($50) is applicable for withdrawal request. If the withdrawal notice is given less than 2 weeks before the programme start date, the paid fees will not be refunded.


Corporate Run

For dedicated corporate runs with a contract signed with IAL, billing and payment will follow the terms of the signed contract. Otherwise, payment would be expected upon registration.

Chris Chew is an experienced learning and organisation development practitioner with more than 20 years of experience in helping individuals, teams, and organisations achieve sustainable performance. Chris has many years of line and consulting experience working in large multinationals like Shell (covering retail, commercial, manufacturing, and IT) and top Singapore institutions such as Singapore Institute of Management, where he has led initiatives such as organisational culture transformation, leadership development, change management, talent and succession management, and employee engagement, as well as managed corporate learning and development.

 

He now coaches executives to become better leaders, and conducts talks, workshops, and technology-enabled learning (e.g. webinars) in areas such as personal mastery, mindset change, influencing skills, team effectiveness, coaching/mentoring, and facilitation skills.

 

Chris was the lead adjunct lecturer in Organisational Development and Change at the Singapore University of Social Sciences. He is also a certified Neuro-Axiology Coach, DISC, I-OPT facilitator, Results Coaching System Coach, AEP (AAE) Professional, ACTA certified trainer, and adjunct facilitator at the Institute of Adult Learning Singapore. Chris is the author of the book Conversations About Success – What Matters and How to Achieve It.

 

Chris holds a Master of Organisational Leadership (Leadership, Policy, and Change) from Monash University, Australia, as well as a Bachelor of Engineering (Honours) from Nanyang Technological University, Singapore.
