What Is The Session About?
We are entering an incredible time in human history. Over the coming years, the degree of change will be like nothing we have ever seen before. Professions can be replaced (e.g. Telemarketer) while new ones (e.g. Digital Marketing Specialist) will be created. Even in areas where jobs will not be replaced, the impact of emerging technologies like AI, Robotics, and Automation will in some way impact how we do our work. In a rapidly changing world, adaptability is becoming one of the most sought-after skills in the workplace, and mastering it is key to personal growth and success. Cultivating Adaptability offers insights and strategies to help you develop your own adaptability and foster adaptable behaviors. Join us to explore the Adaptability framework and its three domains - Ability, Character and Environment - utilise self-assessment and reflection to identify personal strengths and areas for growth in adaptability across the domains/elements of adaptability.
Although change is how we evolve and grow, we often suffer through the phases of transition that we experience. The better equipped we are to understand our own emotions and barriers through a change process, the better we will be able to thrive through any change. Knowing how to perceive change in a positive way and use change as opportunities allowing us to take specific actions and behaviors that create desired results; be it supporting small adjustments to a process, continuous improvement projects, or enterprise-wide transformation. Navigating change encourages you to question your own patterns, resistances and emotions while going through a change process. During this course, you will learn how to differentiate yourself as a strong front-line leader of change by using the 3 phases of a transition to thrive during a time of dramatic change; modelling CALM – Clarity, Alignment, Learning and Mindset – to identify the information you need to engage yourself through change and to tactfully ask for support when gaps are identified.
This course gets you to reflect on your own reactions to changes to enhance future responses and behaviors. Attendees will gain insights into personal resilience, effective communication during transitions, and strategies to leverage change as a catalyst for professional growth.
