What Is The Session About?

In the evolving landscape shaped by Artificial Intelligence (AI), adult educators must equip learners with the skills to navigate its complexities. "PBL Reimagined" is an innovative 2-day workshop designed to empower adult educators with the tools to transform their classrooms using "PBL 2.0," a cutting-edge approach that integrates Generative AI (Gen AI) with Problem-Based Learning (PBL).

Recognised by UNESCO as a key pedagogy, PBL fosters critical thinking, collaboration, and self-directed learning—skills essential for thriving in the AI age. This workshop offers an immersive experience where participants will engage in a simulated PBL scenario, explore the principles of effective PBL design, and learn how to harness Gen AI for crafting realistic problem statements and providing automated feedback.

By the end of the workshop, participants will have gained practical skills in creating engaging PBL experiences tailored to adult learners, developed facilitation techniques to foster a dynamic learning environment, and acquired tools for authentic assessment in PBL settings. Participants will leave equipped to revolutionise their teaching practices, preparing learners to solve real-world problems and adapt to the rapidly changing world driven by AI.
