Kumar currently practices in a community based social service centre in Singapore and has been doing so for 30 years. His main area of work involves working with families experiencing violence, multiple stressors, interpersonal issues and supervising and grooming young Social Workers. Kumar graduated with a Bachelor of Social Sciences (2nd Class Upper Honours in Social Work) from the National University of Singapore in 1995. He has a Post Graduate Diploma in Solution Focused Brief Therapy from the Brief Therapy Centre, Milwaukee US, as well as a Diploma in Clinical Supervision from Counselling & Care Centre.
