Dr Shih has over 30 years of working experience in the media industry across platforms including print press, FTA TV and FM/mobile/internet radio. D Shih was the Senior Vice-President in MediaCorp Radio, Singapore’s preeminent media conglomerate over 25 years, and the CEO of Shangbao, an Indonesian business news publication. In 2009, Dr Shih obtained her doctorate in Journalism and Communications from Tsinghua University, Beijing. Prior to this, Dr Shih also attained a Master of Business Administration from National University of Singapore. Today, Dr Shih is the President of Asia Professional Development Academy, a Specialist Adult Educator (Curriculum Development) certified by the IAL, Singapore. She is qualified for WSQ course design and development (DACE).
