Poh Hock Seng started his career in power generation, before moving on to the sales and marketing of technological products and services, and subsequently to the oil & gas, process engineering and electronic manufacturing sectors. He first started doing courseware development in 2009 for WSQ and non-WSQ programmes as an Associate Consultant with then-WDA. Since then, he has been heavily involved in this area of work in various sectors including Environmental Cleaning, WSH, Employability Skills, Service Excellence, F&B, HR, tourism etc. Hock Seng has also done course facilitation, business consultancy and HR consultancy. He was, for a period of time, working as an Associate Consultant with SHRI. Hock Seng holds a Diploma in Business Administration, B.Eng. (First class honours) and M.Eng. from NUS, and is ACTA and DACE certified.
