Currently an academic in National University of Singapore, Dr. Lee Zheng-Wei, Alex teaches molecular and cell biology and scientific presentation at undergraduate and postgraduate levels. He has experience mentoring students in research and oversea expedition projects. He also conducts CET course in medical sciences. As an informed educator, he embarks into educational research and Scholarship of Teaching & Learning (SoTL). His research interests focus on blended learning design, learning preferences and learner's engagement in learning. Alex holds a BSc (Hons) doing interdisciplinary double majors in Life Sciences and Chinese Studies. He then pursued his PhD in Biochemistry in drug discovery targeting cancer metabolism and metastasis.
