Dr. Lau Siew Tiang specialises in healthcare, curriculum and educational innovation.

Dr. Lau Siew Tiang, Lydia is an Associate Professor at Alice Lee Centre for Nursing Studies at the National University of Singapore (NUS). Her education and research interests focus on pedagogical design and assessment, innovative technology, interprofessional and healthcare competency-based education. Lydia holds a PhD from NUS, MHS (Education) and BHS (Nursing) from University of Sydney. She is the principal investigator for several educational research projects, including nursing Entrustable Professional Activities, Interprofessional learning and Immersive Virtual Reality learning. She is on the NUS Teaching Academy's executive committee and the Singapore Nursing Board standard for education, clinical practice and simulation review workgroup.
