Kwok Chen Ko is a Senior Lecturer in Singapore Polytechnic and has been in the area of environment and water since 1998. Besides teaching these topics in the Polytechnic to both full time students and working adults, he has worked on various projects on water with Nparks and PUB, as well as environmental projects with NEA. His work in water resulted in the publishing of the book "Your first guide to water quality monitoring in Singapore" in collaboration with PUB. He strongly believes in sharpening his learners’ thinking skills by challenging them to critically analyse the technical content during lessons. Design Thinking elements are employed whenever relevant, and field work is often incorporated to merge theory and practice and maximise learning.
