Joyce has in the past served in government and statutory boards and she is an active grass-roots leader. She made a mid-career switch in 2004 to join the education and training industry and has since progress from a mere teaching assistant to an accomplished adult educator. She has previously served in MOE schools, MDIS and EASB. She has conducted workshops and provided consultancy to both local and overseas private and government organisations in the areas of the academic-based Singapore Education System or the incorporation of the Competency Based Training Framework. Joyce holds Diploma in Learning Interventions, CIDTT & ACTA qualifications.
