Gu Zhan (Sam), from Institute of Systems Science, National University of Singapore, lectures Master of Technology programme in the areas of data science, machine intelligence and applied deep learning. Prior to joining ISS, he was in New Zealand on training programs to democratize artificial intelligence and machine learning. Sam had been a data scientist, leading process industry innovations. He had also spent many years in financial institutions, e.g. Barclays bank and Citibank, actualizing information technology values in complex business environment. Sam devotes himself into pedagogy and andragogy, and is very passionate in inspiring next generation of artificial intelligence lovers and leaders.
